About me.
I was born on the east coast, but raised on the west coast. At the young age of 9 years old my family drove across the country from Connecticut to California, where I’ve lived ever since. Currently, I am fortunate to call San Diego my home. I’m married with a son in his freshman year at Purdue University.
My career in MedTech started after having completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering. Having designed and launched several products at my first MedTech company and spending a significant amount of time with that company’s sales team, I discovered that I had a passion for marketing. That experience inspired me to pursue an MBA with an emphasis in Marketing. Completing that pursuit led me to a very successful and fulfilling Marketing career. Later in my career, after having spent a significant amount of time with patent and contract attorneys, I pursued and completed a Juris Doctor. While I found law to be a very interesting discipline, I decided to put that degree to good use in the world of business, rather than pursuing a legal career. The experience brought me balance and a new perspective of analyzing business challenges.
Career Background
I’m an experienced marketing leader with a track record of leading medical technology product portfolio strategy, brand strategy, promotional strategy, and demand generation. I’ve led product management teams through qualitative and quantitative voice of the customer market research to uncover unmet needs and prioritize innovation roadmaps to launch new product introductions. I’ve also led marketing teams with sizeable annual marketing budgets to develop and execute lead generation campaigns via direct response TV, paid search, paid social, email, and print advertising to patients, physicians, hospitals, and payors. I’m experienced in all aspects of upstream and downstream global marketing in the Direct-to-Patient, B2B, HCP, and Hospital customer segments.
